I'm a product lead in New York. For most of the last decade I've worked on platforms, the systems other people build their own products on. That's a specific kind of product work. Your customer is a developer, or lately an AI agent, and your success shows up in someone else's launch.

I started at Microsoft on the graphics and UI layer of Windows, defining the APIs app developers use to build modern interfaces, then moved to PowerPoint for the web, where a redesign of the Office start page I helped lead lifted consumer cloud usage by 7%. At Lob, a startup that turns physical mail into an API, I owned the core platform and launched custom envelopes, which became a new revenue line within its first month.

Then five years at Google leading product for the Chrome extensions developer platform and the developer side of the Chrome Web Store. Over a billion people use Chrome on the desktop, and extensions are how they make it theirs. I took over a developer base that was shrinking and returned it to more than 30% year-over-year growth in new developers. I led the ecosystem's migration to Manifest V3, with over 95% of actively maintained extensions making the move, and repositioned extensions as the place to build with generative AI in the browser. I also built the platform's technical writing team and secured the headcount for developer support and developer relations.

In 2025 I joined Capital One to work on enterprise AI infrastructure. I own the product vision and strategy for the company's internal MCP platform: a gateway, a registry, and a governance process that let engineers and AI agents reach internal tools and data safely. I wanted to build the agent side of the platform story, not just read about it.

The thread through all of it is making the safe path the easy path. Manifest V3 and MCP governance are the same problem at different scales. If the approved way is also the fastest way, developers and agents take it, and the platform gets to keep its promises to the people using it.
